She serves as Lead Pastor of Grand River Community Church in Michigan and holds a Ph.D. in Renewal Theology from Regent University. Shawna’s teaching is Scripture-centered, warm, and deeply practical—blending biblical insight, personal storytelling, and Spirit-led encouragement to help believers grow in faith, spiritual maturity, and calling.

She currently serves as Lead Pastor of Grand River Community Church in Michigan, where she has cultivated a ministry culture centered on discipleship, spiritual growth, shared leadership, and meaningful community. With a Ph.D. in Renewal Theology from Regent University, Shawna brings both theological depth and pastoral warmth to her teaching, helping people engage Scripture not merely as information, but as a place of genuine encounter with the living God.

 

Shawna’s ministry is shaped by a lifelong passion for spiritual formation, leadership development, and equipping others to step confidently into their God-given calling. Over the years, she has raised up and released leaders into ministry, creating spaces where people can discover their gifts, grow in maturity, and serve with courage and purpose.

 

As a speaker, Shawna is known for her warm, conversational style, biblical depth, and practical application. Whether teaching in churches, retreats, leadership gatherings, women’s events, or ministry trainings, she creates spaces where people feel both deeply encouraged and meaningfully challenged.

 

Shawna is also the author of Crossing Harbor Bridge, the first novel in the Harbor Bridge series, and is currently writing additional fiction and nonfiction works focused on faith, leadership, and spiritual transformation.

 

Her vision is to cultivate a growing community of believers and leaders who are deeply formed by God’s presence and Word, equipped in their calling, and released to lead others into spiritual transformation.
